Hi All
I am new to the forum. Running Suse 11.4 with all the latest updates. The camcorder uses flash-drives and records in H264 1080i 50 frames per second.
After hours of trial and error and more by coincident I found a project profile which maintains the quality of original vs render result.
Naturally I thought 1080i 50 would be the project profile to use. It produces jittery render results. So by accident I used 1080i 25.

Result is perfect using mp4 max settings !!! However the wipes don't work and they did not work with 1080i 50 either. Not de-interlaced. Slides do work.

So the questions are:
Why did 1080i 50 not work respectively it resulted in jittery render output. I use mpg, mp4, h264.

Where and how can I modify the wipes?

Thanks and cheers from OZ

Hi there in the UK

Tried it out and it worked. Thanks for the hint. Best result when comparing with all the other settings I tryed in the meantime.

2nd best was 1080p25 and in "clip properties" check "Force Progressive"

I also found that setting the right de-interlace options in smplayer added to the quality as well as the videocard setting.

With all this checking of options I found smplayer the best option.

Thanks and cheers from Australia
