Just thought I would say hello! I'm new to the linux world, and certainly enjoy Ubuntu 10.04. I have been a camera man and supervising editor for an airshow promoter using Sony Vegas Pro and XPee. Now we are going ultra mobile (everything must fit in a backpack and weigh less than 40 lbs - shooting to publishing) so I'm going to see if kdenlive works as advertised!

How does one say the name of this NLE? KAY-den-live, or kuh-DEN-live? We have a pool going in our group, and I'm for the first rendition.

Not sure what is official on the pronunciation. Everyone I know calls KAY-den-live but I'm sure both are okay.

definitely not the latter, but the former seems most popular. I have also used K-D-E-N-live, but KAY-den-live rolls off the tongue much easier. Speaking of rolling off the tongue, we pronounce MLT as 'melt.'
