OK, been ploding along with kdenlive nicely, putting together various youtube clips for a quiz I am making. Anyway, I changed the duration of some titles and so started moving everything to the left to fill the newly made space (is there a better way of doing that?!)

Everytime I dragged a transition over, kedenlive would say it couldn't move it, so I deleted them and re-created them, that seemed to work OK. I then came to a clip that would not move or delete, just stuck there. When I played it in the timeline, it played a different clip instead!

So I saved the project, closed and re-opened kdenlive and re-opened the project, now I have the following mess:

Any ideas what has happened??

OK, bizarre, corrected all of the above and saved and opened a few times now with no ill effect, so no idea what happened above. Have also found the spacer tool for moving everything around, so that will help a ton!

Any way of de-bugging or finding the cause, or if I am doing something wrong?!

That's not funny.
I remember some other people reporting such problems, they're always hard to track.
Maybe you can open a bug ticket in our bug tracker and attach the project file?
