macports kdenlive 0.7.8 keeps stalling during opening on intel based mac os 10.6 (kdeinit 4.5.4, kded 4.5.4)
ports have been updated: % sudo port -d selfupdate % sudo port -u upgrade outdated prerequisites have been carried out as follows: % sudo chown -R $USER ~/Library/Preferences/KDE % sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-system.plist % sudo chown $USER /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist % launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist % open -a kdeinit4 % open -a kded4 kdenlive attempts to open after entering: % open -a kdenlive kdenlive stalls right after showing the wizards for a second without alert. the log says: / Process: kdeinit4 [20497] / Path: /Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/kdeinit4.app/Contents/MacOS/kdeinit4 / Identifier: kdeinit4 / Version: ??? Often after performing the post-install commands, one must reboot for it to work.

I am experiencing a problem with "org.kde.klauncher not provided by any .service files" whenever I try to open a file with kdenLive on my Mac.
