Ubuntu 10.10 I followed instructions from another post to hopefully allow Kdenlive to capture video via. USB from my Sony Handycam DCR-SX44. I was unsuccessful. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction. I am trying to use usb and not firewire.

'sudo' is required to load drivers and change dev permissions.
