Audio Scrub 0.7.9

Mon Feb 14, 2011 5:35 am
I'm running 0.7.9 and everything seems grand except no audio when scrubbing. I see it's listed as an addition to 0.7.9, is there something I need to do to turn it on?

About.com says it's: The ability of a non-linear editing program to play audio while the edit point (cursor or play head) is manipulated along the timeline.

It's not "audio scrubbing", there's just no audio when I scrub :).

Audio scrubbing isn't listed as an addition to 0.7.9 (which by the way isn't yet available, and might actually be skipped to have a 0.8 version).

It is however listed on this page http://www.kdenlive.org/discover/0.7.9 as a "remaining bug" (http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=503). It is simple a feature that is considered for a future release, but to my knowledge noone is working on this, so it should't be implemented anytime soon (maybe this is more a MLT than a Kdenlive feature ?)

Woops, my bad. I thought I was reading the list of fixed stuff, but wasn't. I installed from source and it seems to say 0.7.9. I assume you mean a proper release, not a trunk copy.

Thanks
