Hi, we have just recently converted a DVD (that was previously a High8 tape) into an mp4 file to edit on Kdenlive. Though, after importing the clip the video seems to be going extremely slow and the audio seems to be going at a normal, but choppy speed. It didn't look like this in the initial mp4 file before we imported it into kdenlive.

Would you like to let us know some key data about your hard- and software? So processor, ram, version numbers of Kdenlive, melt, ffmpeg,... If not, we could guess, but...
