Good video but bad playback...?!?

Thu May 12, 2011 10:19 am
I've got Natty 11:04 64bit Quadcore and 7 gigs of ram Ati Radeon HD 4200 with hardware acceleration enabled and I'm trying to create video from various formats such as: mts AVi and more, and I thought it was a failed experiment because the result was disappointing : playing broken, no fluidity, lots of jumps even with good resolution in all players that I have: VLC Smplayer and others ... but surprise! Step up Windows (Vista 64 bit) and discover that it's actually very good video, perfect quality and accurate reproduction .. so the problem is in my Ubuntu and not in creation but in the video playback, in fact well known that VLC uses only one to 4 processors and destroy it for example .. you have any tips to improve the quality of video playback on Ubu?
Thanks & Regards :)
ps sorry for my english :)

Are you sure you are on the correct forum?
You are writing about some VLC issues, aren't you?
