Having worked on a dozen small Kdenlive projects so far, I'm (still) having some issues, so I'm asking here for help. Maybe one or another issue may actually be a bug, but before filing bug issues, I want to make sure that the problem is not me in fact. For your information: I'm using the most recent kdenlive compilations from sunab's bleeding repository on a Kubuntu 12.04 installation.

Now for my two problems:

1. Even while working on a kdenlive project I would like to archive (backup) it from time to time, and when it is finished I want to finally archive it. So far, kdenlive offers me to include only the proxy clips if available -- but I would like to do it exactly the other way round: always only archive the original clips, even if proxies have been generated. Is this functionality currently missing or am I missing something here? I don't want to first delete the proxies, then archive, then regenerate the proxies again just for an in-project archive/backup. Any help?

2. So far I could not manage to successfully archive any of my douzen kdenlive projects. Kdenlive always starts archiving and then gets stuck somewhere in the middle. Nothing happens anymore albeit the progress bar is still in the 30's or 50's percent and the archive directory can be seen to be incomplete. This happens both when archiving to the same filesystem as well as to a remote SMB filesystem. Any help?

Any help greatly welcomed. And many thanks for the great work of Kdenlive!

1. Maybe you could move the proxy files outside of kdenlive file tree, then archive, and then you could move back the proxy files.

2. I don't know
