Hi Guys,
I'm working on a small horror film and the camera that I use has very slow zooming speed... I was wondering if Kdenlive has a tool which would work as artificial zooming, where the video is sort of in a composite mode, but a second window (zooming window) would enlarge faking a zoom property. Basically an object is moving at the camera, and I want the object to move at the camera pretty fast, but the zoom on my camera can not keep up with the motion. I have thought about using slow motion then speeding up the clip. Is there a times two speed button for clips in Kden? Back to the zooming subject, I had thought about keeping the camera still, the object physically moves toward the camera, then the secondary layer / view is at first focused on the object then appears to get larger and combined with the forward motion of the object, gives the illusion of zooming. Is there something like this? |

Q: Is there a times two speed button for clips in Kden?
A: No. But there is a speed effect. Q: Is there something like this? A: Reads like a Ken Burns effect for me. Try Pan, Scan and Zoom effect on a composite layer. And there are much more effects in Kdenlive. Most effects you see in movies are a more or less complex combination of several simple effects. |
