Problem with invalid video clip

Sun Jan 05, 2014 12:26 pm
Hi,

I have a 0.9.6 version on a 12.3 OpenSuse. I used kdenlive a few months ago with no problem. I could add mts video clips with no problem.
But this morning, I am not able to add any new video clips to a project (mts, mkv,..) and I am even not able to reload clips from my previous project.
It is probably due to some librairies upgrade (ffmpeg,...) but I do not know which one one can be the problem.
So I need some help.
Thanks

Philippe

Try running KdenLive from a command prompt. It may spit out some error messages.

If you do suspect library issues - which could certainly be the source of this problem - you may have to build and run an isolated version of KdenLive and all of its dependencies. Go here: http://www.kdenlive.org/user-manual/downloading-and-installing-kdenlive/installing-source - specifically the section labeled 'build script' to do so.
