Frame Dropping Whilst Editing/Shuttling. When editing, video frames are not updating in the video editor display. I have 'real time (drop frames)' unticked and using XVideo as the display engine. I have tried 'auto' and opengl and even with the 'real time (drop frames)' ticked to see if reverse logic.

Any suggestions as I can't edit videos properly with this problem.

Kdenlive is version 0.9.6 ArchLinux build.

If you are editing HD material you may want to use proxy files (tag checkbox in your project settings).

Maybe the movie is corrupt somehow - you can try to transcode or remux by right clicking the clip and choose some format in the transcode options. Remuxing to MKV has solved similar problems for me sometimes.
