Hi,
I just installed Kdenlive on Ubuntu 13.04. At Settings --> Themes only the Theme "Standard" is available. How can I install additional themes? The bright standard theme is irritating when editing videos in a dark room. Thanks |

If you run "kcmshell4 colors" is anything other than a single option offered there?

You don't have all of the KDE themes loaded.
Type this (or otherwise search for)... locate *color-schemes/*.colors Here's my list:
/usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/Norway.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/ObsidianCoast.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/Oxygen.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/OxygenCold.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/QtCurve.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/QtCurveAgua.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/Steel.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/WontonSoup.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/Zion.colors /usr/share/kde4/apps/color-schemes/ZionReversed.colors |

Thanks for your hints. Unfortunately "kcmshell4 colors" throws a lot of "not found" errors.
And in my /usr/share/kde4/apps/ there is no folder /color-schemes. Can I download any color schemes from somewhere and put them into a manually created /color-schemes folder? |

Do you have kde-workspace-data installed? That's where those files come from on my Ubu-12.04 LTS installation. |

an easy way to get a black theme or other colors:
1. download from bluefear script file:///home/felmar/Scrivania/bleufear.colorr. colors 2. in home./kde/share/apps/create the folder color-schemas 3. unzip the file and paste in color-schemas bluefear. colors 4. the new theme is now selectable via settings-themes . |
