I have been running kdenlive for a while and it have been working perfect with audio etc.
But now when I try to import audio to kdenlive or if subtract audio from a video clip to wav 48000hz it also crash. I think the problem is not related to the audio - anyway I have tried to make a bug report but I am not sure if this done the right way but any suggestions on how to solve my problem ? |

I've noticed the same. As I had an older daily build still laying around I was able to use it for importing. Afterwards, I switch back to the recent.
I see this as a severe regression in kdenlive. |

I am now using Version 0.9.6 Using KDE Development Platform 4.11.5 and it works again after using sudo ppa-purge ppa:sunab/kdenlive-svn it did fix my problem - am not really able to build anything on this computer so need the premade compilations to solve my problems. I have friends that never upgrades because they are afraid to lose the stable version. |

Do you have a link to your bug report handy? |

I think it's this one: http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=3229 |

The crash (a SEGFAULT) is located within MLT...
The first thing I'd have a look at is your MLT version. FYI, I'm running KdenLive 0.9.7 w/ MLT 0.9.1 and audio files load just fine. |

Yes my downgrade was not (really) working OK when rendering my project in h264 or webm - 1280x720/25 frames 30 minutes video was a 128mb file and normaly i use and get a better quality output - so i have to find another solution but I can't compile so i need to use the build pages for my amd64 ubuntu. But it says its not availble using repositories.. http://ppa.launchpad.net/sunab/kdenlive ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found |

http://ppa.launchpad.net/sunab/kdenlive ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found[/quote] I am not sure but I think my system stoped working after some google/chrome update that possible replaced working parts.. I am not really sure about it... to bad I am not running a LTS version and upgrading to 14.04 does not solve the problem. |

Silly me - I was rendering a screen capture and normaly 30 minutes of video is renderet to about 1.9gb files.
But doing like always i did get very small output files - so I tried change the bts rates and did forget that my input was only 15 frames - so after playing around with this and rendering some other projects I did find a reason for my small files. |
