I am using Xubuntu 13.10 w/ kernel 3.11.0-20-generic and kdenlive from the default ubuntu repo's, respective versions are:
kdenlive = 0.9.6-2ubuntu1 melt = 0.8.8-2 frei0r-plugins = 1.1.22git20091109-1.2build1 ffmpeg = 6:0.8.7-1ubuntu2 I have a 1280x720@30 clip in a .mp4 container which has h264/aac codecs (captured with OBS in windows at 3,000Kbps). I have a photo i'd like to lay over my video so I use the affine transition as I need it keyframeable as it will scroll onto the screen from the bottom and some of the top portion of the photo needs to be cropped so I apply the crop effect and when I click on another area of the video clip to start to change the affine it crashes kdenlive. I can repeat the crash over and over whenever I use that effect and transition together. Any thoughts? I am going to try sunab's ppa as I see it's gotten active again. If I can't get no kdenlive to do what I need I'll end up having to crop the photo down to my desired end size prior to bringing it in BUT kdenlive "should" be able to do this.

Hi ubu,
don't understand your last post... Looks as if you filed a bug report. What else do you expect the readers to do here? |

Maybe catatonic but not dead. The crash is in frei0r...
If you can isolate which effect is causing the crash that would help. Seems as though you'll need to chase this down w/ the frei0r group. |
