firewire camera - no connection

Sun Jul 13, 2014 1:36 am
i got a strange issue performing capturing from firewire camera under kdenlive 0.9.8 on Kubuntu 14.04.
everything about the system must be ok cause I can use firewire camera correctly with dvgrab, even the "interactive" mode and all formats.

so capturing in kdenlive mus be the same cause it uses dvgrab (under a graphical way) but when i connect i can hear my camera loading tape but suddenly stop working.
so, it's something related to kdenlive itself cause with dvgrab everything is ok.

any idea?
tnx

Andrea.

Please run kdebugdialog, enable all options in it and then run Kdenlive in a terminal and observe the output it makes when attempting to capture content from your camera.

unfortunately i'm not so skilled to use the debug tools...

solved deleting configuration file:
[home]/.kde/share/config/kdenliverc

automatically recreated on the next start. loose configuration but now fully working.
