I've finally completed my mini-series of blog posts illustrating how Kdenlive's timeline and transitions work. Especially as many newcomers to Kdenlive fall into the trap of believing that tracks are like graphics layers my hope is to help these people getting the most out of Kdenlive's transition mechanism more quickly. I've drawn up a considerable amount of hand-made illustrations especially for this topic, so my mini-series is not some boring screen shot slide show. Instead, it gently guides you through this admittedly involved topic.
