Hi,
I'm using kdenlive to edit screencasts, and one task that I have to do a lot is to take a frame from my video and turn it into an image clip so I can display it while I talk about what's going on on the screen. Currently my workflow is: 1. right-click on the monitor and select "extract frame" 2. find the right directory to save the image 3. click the "add clip" button 4. find the directory where I saved the image and select it It would really speed things up if there were some way to extract a frame and automatically add it as a clip in the current project. Does anyone know if there's a setting that permits this, or if not, should I raise a feature request? Or is it a silly idea and I'm the only one who works this way - maybe there is a better way to get the result I need? |

I don't think this exact feature exists yet. But I too would find it useful. However, the Freezefreeze effect can achive this thing too. But it could be a worthwhile feature request.
