Hello, I am working on a large project. Due to time contraints, I would like to begin editing certain segments (before all footage is shot). I thought Kdenlive had the ability to "copy/paste" a project onto the end of another project, but does not seem to be working. It would be helpful if I could do all the editing of a short segment, then insert that sequence (without rendering) into the larger parent project when time comes. Any ideas or tips to accomplish something like this?

You can import . Kdenlive files into the project tree the same way you import other clips. Then you drop the imported "clip" onto your time line- like any other clip.
