In the kdenlive every thing works audio vidoe etc...
however after I render a file the video does not have a audio track

My kdenlive version is

kdenlive --version
Qt: 4.8.6
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.1
Kdenlive: 0.9.8
and I am using ubuntu 14.10 x64
but I had the same issue with this ppa version

Is there a way to fix this am I missing dependences ??

There seems to be a major problem with the launch of Ubuntu 14.10 in that they automatically upgraded Kdenlive from 0.9.6 to 0.9.8 but incorporated an old version of the mlt package. I found that if I added ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release to my list of repositories and then forced a software update, all the required files were installed plus Kdenlive 0.9.10 which - for me - brought back the sound to the rendered video!

The steps I used (in a terminal) were:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
