How can I batch edit clips (elongate/shorten) in KdenLive?

I use KdenLive to make music videos for my students (grade one). My songs all have multiple images that I use as a slideshow and often the music goes faster and faster but uses the same repeated images/clips. I would like to be able to select multiple clips (or clip group) and shorten them all together. Is this possible to do in KdenLive?

Thanks!

you said the clips are just image files? i know there is a setting within the configuration of kdenlive to choose the default length an image get's set to when you add them to your project, this is perfect for when wanting to do slideshows, this way every image is for example 45 seconds long but i am uncertain if there is a way to elongate/shorten more than 1 clip at a time IF you already added them to the project.

Hey Ubu; I considered doing what you suggested (just changing the default duration of added clips as they are added). The problem with that is that each of my clips need to be displayed for different lengths.

Here is the workaround/solution I ended up using in case anyone else needs to do something similar:
I went ahead and got my series of clips to be perfectly synced with the music. Then I exported a RAW format of the video without any audio. After that, I imported the video I just made and changed the speed for the video to coincide with the audio that also increased in speed. This worked very well and was in fact probably easier to do than what I originally had intended.

Thanks for your help and taking the time to reply to my post.
