Hi,
thx to developers, a very powerful software, i use it very much last 2 years, every week! But 0.9.10 update destroyed rendering in xbunutu 12.04 and 0.9.10 in a fresh installed 14.04 installation is extrem buggy, crashy, can't sync mp3 with mp4, not compatible to 0.9.8, .... So I urgently need a downgrade to 0.9.8. Somebody here who knows how that works on ubuntu? see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2252259 , no help so far. thx Eckard |

This bit of the manual has some info on installing the latest version minus 1. This would be 0.9.8 (not 0.8.9 of your subject line)

I'm in the same boat, and yes, I want to downgrade to 0.8.9. I'm using lubuntu, it "upgraded" me to kdenlive 0.9.8, and it's suddenly crash-prone, slower to play previews, and won't do slo-mo properly. The kdenlive-old-release ppa only has 0.9.8 as the old release, since 0.9.10 is out there. (It wouldn't work for me anyway:
) I tried the instructions at http://www.howtogeek.com/117929/how-to- ... on-ubuntu/ but synaptic and apt-cache both only show 0.9.8. Any help? |
