Sean Riley has done a piece on trying to use free software to edit a video for the YouTube Computerphile channel. Kdenlive is the main piece of video editing software he ended up using, and I found his commentary interesting, both the positive and the negative.

I have just moved from openshot to kdenlive, and am looking forward to continuing using it for the foreseeable future.

I wonder what version he was using?

I guess he didn't know that you can remap the shorcut keys.

Wouldn't the Audio->Pan/Balance effects block out the audio track that he wanted to suppress?
