I wanted to file a bug of "title clip" adding to timeline not possible, message: "clip not ready"
But first I have to register me on bugs.kdenlive.org which doesn't work because exactly this bug of the kdenlive mantis-bug-tracker:
http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/print_bug_page.php?bug_id=17993 "Session variable "captcha_key" not found."
(it is fixed, you need only to update or patch mantisbt)

I filed my "title-clip" bug here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343743 (maybe it isn't a bug but an user error by me?)
thanks

Thanks for the mantis investigations, I asked the upgrade to sysadmins.
I've just checked title clip insertion with nightly build (including latest MLT) and it worked.
Does your MLT build include the QImage and title modules?

Or maybe MLT fails with your recent environment, while I'm testing with old libs (Qt)...

mantisbt registration works again, thanks

I don't know if the qimage lib is installed and recognised by mlt
adding title clips to the timeline works if I build the mlt-git version wit qt4
this package does works: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ml/mlt-git/PKGBUILD
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-gpl --disable-gtk2 \
--avformat-swscale \
--qimage-libdir=/usr/lib/ --qimage-includedir=/usr/include/qt \
--avformat-vdpau \
--avformat-swscale \
--enable-opengl
make

with following options title clips doesn't works: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ml/mlt-qt5-git/PKGBUILD
./configure --prefix=/usr \
--enable-glp \
--enable-glp3 \
--enable-opengl \
--disable-gtk2 \
--avformat-vdpau \
--qt-libdir=/usr/lib \
--qt-includedir=/usr/include/qt
make

Update: ok I see at comparing the options "--qimage-libdir=/usr/lib/ --qimage-includedir=/usr/include/qt" aren't in the qt5 build package I think I haven't paste it in last time, I will try it next time soon
