Is there a way in Kdenlive to set up a live effects monitor (example: the screen that forcasters look at to see the map behind them when they do the weather)? I think it could be really helpful when setting up a shot if there is a way to do it. Thanks

I don't think Kdenlive can do this for you live.

You can do green/blue screen effects while editing a video. But kdenlive does not cater for live video feeds. You can capture from a web cam and edit in green sceen later. But I think what you are asking for is capture from a web cam and composite in some other live footage on to a green screen in real time. And no - kdenlive does not do that.
