I'm a noob
Installed Kdenlive on Linux and everything was fine, great.
Then my timeline would no longer show a playhead, so I can't really edit without that.
Is there a "hide playhead" option I might have clicked on?

I have this problem as well. just a little pink marker pops up where i want the black timeline arrow to be. sometimes the black arrow goes where i want it but it isn't reflected on the preview and when i play it starts at the start and the arrow doesn't move with it. i really wish this could be fixed but i can't find out anything about it. i don't want to have to use openshot, i want to make a good video

edit: think i found it. in the view drop down menu have project monitor turned on. that's what made mine starts working.
