kdenlive do not open MTS file

Tue Apr 28, 2015 8:06 am
Hello,
I just shot with a pretty old HD canon camcorder (Canon HG10, 40Gb Hard drive), and got an unusual problem:
the camcorder splits the video in several files, 1.9 Gb large (that's usual), kdenlive opens the first two files without problem, but not the others. These films are perfectly read by any other application I have on my openSUSE 13.2 install.

I could find a workaround catting all the files in only one and kdenlive do not seems to have any problem with it, so this is not a major problem.

I wonder if the files where not split at an odd place between master frames?

the file is much too large to be uploaded. Here the mediainfo content (below)

thanks

Code: Select all
melt 00003.MTS
[mpegts @ 0x26bf960] PES packet size mismatch
[mpegts @ 0x26bf960] PES packet size mismatch
[mpegts @ 0x26bf960] PES packet size mismatch

then

Code: Select all
 WILD TIMESTAMP!
[producer avformat] 00003.MTS
     WILD TIMESTAMP!
[producer avformat] 00003.MTS
     WILD TIMESTAMP!

etc.

thanks
