Hi everyone. I'm using the latest version of kdenlive to do my first ever video editing and its fantastic! I'm loving the software but when I add a title clip and try to edit it, I'm having a few issues. In the Title Clip editor I can add text, resize it etc but when I try to add an image via the "Add Image" button it opens the file browser and lists folders but its not showing any images. In the file format drop down it has a list of file types and one is "image / PNG" - which I believe is the one I want as I have a PNG image to add.

I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 and have the latest version of kdenlive. Thank you.

It's a known bug that I see as well in 15.04.3. Apparently fixed in git.

A couple workarounds are to load the image as a clip in the timeline and layer a text title over it. Or assemble the title in an image editor and then load it in kdenlive as an image.
