Every tutorial on Kdenlive has told me that I can change a transition type by selecting it and right clicking on it. I'm supposed to get a drop-down menu giving me different transition types.

I'm using 0.9.10 and I simply cannot get this to work. When I right click a transition, only choices I'm offered are DELETE SELECTED ITEM, COPY, and AUTOMATIC TRANSITION (which can be checked or unchecked).

What am I doing wrong?

It is the same for me. Maybe all these tutorials are wrong. You can change it from the transition tab though - and you get a dropdown to choose the transition from.
