i wish to ask you team developer and user experience: first frame number is 1, it is right? if YEs then why timeline first frame number is 0..? see my example: actual kdenlive 0.9.10 and 15.12 http://pasteboard.co/a0bkBPY.jpg my proposal for correct information UI or i-m wrong: http://pasteboard.co/a03dSuX.jpg my doubt is this for first frame is 0...? i think for correct first frame is 1, not 0...it's right or i-m wrong? thank you for thinking.. |

I think the time line as it displays is correct. This time line is like a ruler. Rulers start at zero and the first millimeter on the ruler is between the 0 and 1 mark on the ruler.
The time line is a ruler in units of frames. The time line starts at zero. The first frame in the clip lies between the zero label and the frame 1 label. If you put the cursor at the 1 frame mark and cut the clip you cut between the first and second frames. Pretty sure this is the standard way to label video timelines. |

In programming, often 0 is the first item and 1 is the second item. Also 01s:000ms = 01s:01f is probably more confusing than 01s:000ms = 01s:00f If you configure a Premiere Pro CC project to show video time code in frames, the first frame is 0 as well. It's the same in Final Cut Pro X, Lightworks (as far as I can tell) and Avid Media Composer.
For everybody's information: current versions still have a line "marker" but it also marks the area to the next frame, which I think is a bit helpful: |

This comes to my mind: 12:00am = 00:00 |
