I'm current using KDE:
Plasma 5.5.2 Frameworks 5.17 KDE apps 15.12.0 Hardware: CI7-4790 HD4600 graphics 8 GB ram OS - Gentoo amd64 During editing of a video, I maximize the timeline so that it is zoomed all the way in to see each frame but the video thunbnails are missing. There is just a colored area where the video thumbnails are suppose to be. The "show video thumbnails" is selected. There is a KDE4 installation on the same computer and Kdenlive works correctly, showing the video thumbnails when the timeline is zoomed all the way in. Is there something different to be done to get Kdenlive to work correctly or is this a bug?

As far as I understand, currently only the first and last frame of a clip are supposed to show thumbnails. Is that not how it should be?
