I started a project within Kdenlive yesterday, but have been unable to render the output file. It seems that if I remove the audio, all goes well, but with audio enabled the render crashes. I have read numerous issues with this on-line, but have been unable to rectify the problem. In a last ditch attempt I have just upgraded my system from 12.04LTS to 14.04LTS, and re-installed Kdenlive, but still have the same issue. I have tried all the different render output codecs, and various custom scripts with mp3 instead of aac but still no joy. Can anyone help?

System:
Ubuntu 14.04LTS
Kdenlive 0.9.6
melt 0.9.3

If I use the H.264 profile, I get this crash message:
Code: Select all
Rendering of /mnt/DATA/VIDEO/WE/greg_head_WE2.mp4 crashed

I have just tried a Ubuntu daily build, however, I can't get it to run due to a missing library:

Code: Select all
kdenlive: error while loading shared libraries: libkrossui.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
