Hi folks,

I am having problems migrating a Kdenlive project from OSX to Linux. Some sub-clips were created on the OSX platform and then transferred to a linux machine (same project path). Nothing was done on the timeline... just prepping clips. When I open the project on Linux it informs me it is upgraded but no clips appear.

OSX Kdenlive version: 0.9.10
Ubuntu Kdenlive version: 15.08.1

Is there something else I need to do to migrate?

As an alternative to spending time to figure this out, how can I install an older version of Kdenlive on Ubuntu?

Well I was able to fix this by upgrading to version 15.12.0 which seems to do a better job at converting project files from older versions.

Good to hear. I was hesitant to recommend 15.12.x over 15.08.x. From which repository did you 15.12.0 get from? Main ubuntu repo or a personal repo? Or did you compile Kdenlive yourself?

I used the one recommended on the downloads page of kdenlive.org

ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release
