i'm mostly interested in CPU, RAM and how fast your rendering to H.264 is, but don't hesitate if you want to share more of your experience with KDENLiVE on your hardware.

that's cool! your CPU has a score of 1564 in the single thread rating at http://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html and i've got Intel E2140 that only has 581 in the rating. no wonder it took me about 75 minutes to render a 3min10sec 1080p25 video today. i also use the slow preset. i'm thinking about switching to AMD and buying Athlon X4 845. it's rated 1771, quite low on energy and cheap. |

Currently using this machine, which I built last year in part with an eye toward video composition.
Prior to that, I was using a seven-year-old 2.2GHz dual-core AMD Athlon 64 with 2GiB of RAM. |

cool stuff! and how does it perform in terms of rendering in KDENLiVE? do you use MoViT [GPU] or Frei0r [CPU] filters? did you try NVEnc? |
