I have been trying to add Kdenlive to my Live USB Ubuntu 16.04 stick
Initially tried 15.12.1 on dual boot. Worked ok-ish - lots of crashing - but vidstab not working so updated.
Problems started then.
Was suggested that the hardware on my Dell Inspiron 5550 was not ok so downloaded all the latest drivers
Still no luck - kdenlive was on there but just flickered on then disappeared.

So back to using live usb - I had been able to edit in kdenlive in this way last year, but seems to be much harder to get things happening now

Following is terminal output
1. Installing kdenlive 15.2.1
2. Installing kdenlive 16.04
Hoping this info will enable someone to open the door on this

Issues in both - need help now as feeling overwhelmed - it's been about three weeks
I have people waiting for their music videos and can't deliver
I really liked kdenlive w hen I used it last year via Live USB

Oops sorry - typo.
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5559 (not 5550)

Running Ubuntu 16.04 from live USB stick - Ubu seems to be ok!
