After restoring default settings via "Configure Kdenlive", my track height is too small (short) to be useful. The track height adjustment button does indeed increase height but not to a usable value -I can see the audio mute and track lock icons but not entirely. The track height adjustment button also allows for two small settings -both unusable.
And there is plenty of (dead) space beneath the tracks. Any thoughts? Thanks. Linux Mint 18 Mate Dell XPS 15 9550 i7 w/FHD |

You can tune track height pixel by pixel in preferences.
And you can drag the splitter between timeline and top panels to adjust the total timeline height to your tracks. Is that what you need? |

This is a screenshot of Kdenlive 16.08 on my laptop (Linux Mint 18 on Dell XPS 15 i7 w/ FHD). Notice the height of the of the tracks. Also notice the dead space beneath the video and audio tracks. This is with the "Bigger Tracks" button enabled.

That was it (pixel adjustment in "Configure Kdenlive"); Thanks! Not sure why it changed from the original setting...... |
