HI,
after the upgrade to the last version of kdenlive (16.08.0) on my Debian some icons of the GUI are missed and replaced with text description. For example "Set zone In" "Set zone out" in the monitor clip, or "Insert Clip Zone in Timeline" anc many others. Does anybody knows how have the icons back? Thanks in advance, Max-B |

If you are not using KDE as your desktop environment, check if you have installed the oxygen icon set. That solved icon issues more than once.

Hi,
thanks for your answer. I installed the package oxygen-icon-theme and oxygen5-icon-theme but the GUI's icons are still missed. Ciao, Max-B |

I had this problem last night - I think I solved it by running:
Not sure exactly which package fixed it, but I have icons now. |

Hi,
I installed kde-runtime but didn't solve my problem. Ciao, Max |

Worth a try. Probably worth pointing out that I am on Ubuntu 16.04, so I would have got this package: http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/kde-runtime. If you are on Debian, you would probably have got this: https://packages.debian.org/stable/kde-runtime. Maybe the dependencies are different? |

Hi,
as far as I know dependencies are written in the .deb so dependencies could be different between the two distro. Few days ago a opened also a reportbug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=836671 ...unfortunately without answers. Ciao, Max-B |
