Hi,

i am using arch-linux and am using different window-managers, KDE, Mate and much others.

I was able to use KDEnlive some days ago, everything went good, but after the last update i am still able to do video-editing, and rendering is also possible, but i am not able to use any file-selector-box, so i am not able to save my work or choose an tother directory for output in a graphical way.

My file-selector-boxes are displayed with a complete black background an can be closed by clicking the close-cross.

Any hints for me how to get this running?

I will try to use KDE to check this, am running on MATE at the time, but am unsure if this is the solution.

hi i am using arch as well and cannot reproduce this... i am running gnome...

try to install kded, if that doesnt work try installing plasma.
