Hey there!
I searched for this issue but there's so many pages and it's frustrating. On Kdenlive, when I'm scanning through the timeline by clicking on the cursor and moving it along the timeline, the audio tries to play from the point where the cursor is. It kills my computers ability to quickly preview the frames and it's really annoying to hear a microsecond of audio from that point in the timeline. Does anyone know how I can turn this off and save what is left of my sanity? Thank you so much for your time! |

If this actually improves performance, that'd be great
There is being work done on that, if we're lucky there will be a toggle button in the next release. Feature request ticket: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371707 For old versions: https://old.kdenlive.org/comment/21569 ( https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... e_Kdenlive ) And just for comparison, here's how Shotcut allows to turn it on/off: https://youtu.be/XRb6mhQTrgM |
