Using recently Kdenlive 16. 12. I rotated a video made with cell phone and would like to paint the side black bars. I remember an old version of Kdenlive we had failed, but now after all these attempts can not.
Use 'rotate and shear' and it's all ok, but even if I select a color to remove the black side, I can not do it.

Fixed issue: it was enough to enter the video clips on the second track and the side black bars are colored with the chosen color in the effect menu.
