Apply Lut effect

Mon Dec 19, 2016 5:44 pm
On Ubuntu studio 16.04 this effect doesn't run with package installed by ppa, but it runs with appimage.

Someone knows how to fix this problem?

(sorry for my english)

Probably either:

1. wait till Ubuntu package gets updated or

2. Install from PPA

I've already installed the latest version by ppa... I suppose the problem is melt package. The version in ppa is not the last.

I have this problem too, when I insert this effect the preview screen is black.

What can I do to solve it?

I'm running KDenLive 16.12.1 (from ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-testing) on Kubuntu 16.10 AMD64. Thus far I've only tested the 'Apply LUT' effect with some 3D (.cube and .3dl) LUT's but they work as expected. Great job.

I'm running kdenlive 17.08.3, with the listed MLT version as being 6.5.0 (current latest in the PPA as of 12/21/2017), on an Ubuntu 17.10 machine

The LUT effect is not working as expected for me - when applying a LUT to a clip and rendering, the rendered output is washed out, with the lowest level in the histogram being somewhere around 33.

When I apply the EXACT same LUT to the same input clip using ffmpeg's lut3d filter - I get the expected output in the converted file.

What is going on?
