Hello,

I had the same problem. It seems it was caused by a non existing temporary path.

Go to the Kdenlive settings and under Environment -> Tab: Default Folders -> Temporary Files I had "/tmp/"

After creating C:\tmp I was able to load videos.

Enjoy Kdenlive on windows!

Make sure you have ffmpeg installed and the path setup in Settings->Environment.

I had exactly the same problem because I had ffmpeg in the wrong folder.
