If you right-click on the Project Monitor window or the Clip Monitor window there is a set of menus there, one of them labeled Monitor Overlay Safe Zones.
Now I'm aware of the concept that titles should be within a "safe zone" so that even on the worst calibrated tv/monitor the text will be visible. What I'm not sure of is that there are two green zone lines. Which one is for text and which one is whatever the other one is? Here's a screenshot... The Kdenlive Wiki doesn't say anything about this. The documentation should refer to an Inner and an Outer rectangle. https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... RightClick If I can assume that the Inner rectangle is for Titles and the Outer rectangle is for the general video...then why does a video I created on my BlackBerry at 720p extend beyond that Outer rectangle since I also set up the editing profile at 720p?

OK, not on the Kdenlive Help pages, but I did find something very similar for Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere etc...
