Hey guys,

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to fix this. The stable PPA install is crashing all the time. It is very slow to drag and drop clips to the timeline, i.e the thumnail of the video lags behind the cursor. Once dropped and you get going on the editing it just hangs and crashes most of the time.

System: AMD Phenom X6, 16GB Ram, Geforce GTX1060 with 381.09 Drivers, same happens on 375.39 drivers. Ubuntu 16.04.

What I did notice is that the same slow drag and drop is happening in Openshot 2. However it doesn't crash as often.

Perhaps someone can help me get this going as I really want to get this project finished.
