Zone extraction offsets

Tue May 02, 2017 10:14 am
Hello community,

I have a problem with extracting zones from a clip:
I have multiple avi files, from some I can extract zones without a problem. With other ones I get an offset in the extracted zone, eg.: it starts 5 seconds before my in point and ends 5 seconds before my out point. When i drag the clip to the timeline while having my zone marked, it does not have this offset. I need to organize multiple zones from a single clip, so just pulling them down in the timeline is not really an option for me.

I already launched kdenlive from the terminal to see if there was any helpful output, but unfortunately everything is looking good.

I am using kdenlive version 16.12.2 and MLT version 6.4.1.

I could provide a sample project with a clip and zone extraction that fails for me - if that helps and anyone is willing to take a look ;-)
Please let me know if I can provide any other information helping debug this problem.

Chris
