@inapickle Thank you for that most recent post. As a GH4 user and potential GH5 customer I have been trying to get to grips with consequences for my workflow and hopes for using Kdenlive in place of proprietary software.
Let me say Kdenlive is great and I shall continue to use and try to support it, but understanding what's happening to the footage 'behind the scenes' is obviously crucial.
I was wondering how Gstreamer fairs with regard to 10 bit / colour space? I am very likely completely misunderstanding things, but does this offer an alternative route to ffmpeg and MLT?

I would guess that the binary can't find the necessary libraries
