I've tried multiple versions of Kdenlive, but no matter what I can't get renders to complete. The timer counts down, and the files grow, but they are never closed. I've tried all sorts of input and output formats, but the render job comes down to 'Remaining Time: 0:00:00' and then sits there, for hours even. If I use an output format that supports it, (e.g. webm) I can play the output, and it appears to render correctly, but if I'm using mp4 it won't play because the header isn't written. Ideas?
Edit: for ref, last version I tried was 17.04.1, MLT version 6.5.0 |

I have same problem here, using ANY kdenlive version (last tested is 17.4.1). I have opened a bug in Debian and maintainer says that it seems a melt problem, but I don't know enough about melt-kdenlive relationship for contrasting that
Any clue for testing, reporting more info? Thank you. This seems a good proyect, but I know two years ago and it is impossible to me rendering simple sample video. |

After reading some forum posts I have tried something: deleting .config/kdenliverc and installing breeze Kde theme. After that... it works!
