Question: Where do I store my project folders?

Would the directory be
C:/Users/MyName/AppData/Local/kdenlive/quickstart-tutorial/
or something like
C:\Users\Pete\Documents\kdenlive\quickstart-tutorial\

I'm just now starting to learn Kdenlive. I'm working on this tutorial in the Kdenlive Quick Start Guide:

I think it would be the directory with the AppData folder above but am not sure. The tutorial says Kdenlive automatically creates four folders: proxy, thumbs, titles, backup. I think those four files are created in the cache folder in the directory with the AppData folder in ther directory path.
