I have a problem with kdenlive in Linuxmint 17 and Linuxmint 18 ( and xubuntu also)

I have already installed kde-runtime to solve missing icons problem

The strange thing is that this problem does not occur when using live system, just after installation.

Please reply if you know the solution

I found the solution.

I had to change my locale from Arabic to English then restart my desktop environment.

Also I can run kdenlive using the command

LC_NUMERIC=C kdenlive

the linked video has been removed.

I have a similar problem (here with the zoompan effect).
What did you mean by 'change the locale' - did you change the language in the kdenlive program window? (done it, does not help me).
Or did you change country etc in in kde systemsettings? your videos are gone so I can not see your explanations.
