I am using kdenlive latest version 17.04.1, on Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 64-bit, Gnome Desktop, GTK.

My issue is that Kdenline crashes at EVERY action i take, for instance, I load up a video, play it, pause it and play it again, it crashes immediately. I apply a transition and play, it crashes immediately, I make a cut and play, it crashes, I shift the video timeline point and play everything done it crashes when I play.

I use a desktop and its 16gb memory card on it.

What do I do now? This has been happening every from the previous release I think.

did you try the app images to work with?

I have to say also for me everything is pretty buggy and some app images work better and some worse, but i get the most stable performance with them ....

Do you use GPU processing (check in the kdenlive Playback options). If enabled, try without GPU processing (I had to do this some time ago to avoid crashes when adding clips).
